Not a good place to start if your new to 3D modeling. there are some basic skills that are hardly mentioned if you learn to sculpt before then redo the entire network with a .. by SuperDave
I made the mistake of going through this book using the latest version 2.69 and ended up almost tearing my hair out trying to follow the book. He says use 2.6x but use 2 by Demitri Cawood
The book is very good for explaining concepts such as what you should avoid and why. The book has 3 projects in each chapter that explains by poison1008
